Styling Kids with Danny Weiss and Kidpik Basics
I’ve styled hundreds of models while working in PR and in fashion whether it be for Samsung photo shoots, promotional street teams, fashion shows or for Saks Fifth Avenue. Nowadays, I style mostly my 3.5 year old daughter and child models like Kalia pictured below. This photo shoot was with renowned photographer, Danny Weiss and Kidpik clothes from their new basics line.
Kalia was such a sweetheart to work with and a pure natural in front of the camera!
Shoes are her own and the fanny pack and flower crown were from my daughter’s closet. Clothes are from Kidpik Basics.
For this second round, Kalia changed into a Kidpik denim jacket, comfy, striped long-sleeved tee (also Kidpik) and a fun tutu from Cat and Jack.
Blanket and headband were from our closet. Shoes and headphones, models own.

The kids here were wearing a mix of Janie and Jack, Gap, and the Children’s Place. Staying within the black and white + red theme made all these looks cohesive and classic. The below shot just kills me.
