Fab Kids: My Favorite Baby Shops
Thank goodness I had a baby girl. Lord knows I would have turned a son gay with my obsession for fashion, party planning and decorating. Surely, I would have raised a fabulous, Korean David Tutera who learned to sashay before he could even walk! When I was younger, I’ve always dreamed about having a real life doll to dress up and play with. And these days, I often feel as though I’m living out this childhood dream as I spend my days, feeding, burping, changing and dressing my little cutie up. The dressing up part is my most favorite. I go gaga for cute baby clothes. As my mom says, the clothes are irresistible (as she over-shops and spoils her with more fashions to add to her already bulging closet). Here are some of my favorite shops.
top – Gerber, skirt- The Children’s Place, socks – Trumpette, headband – made by me- Zuilly, Totsy, Hautelook (think of these as online sample sales)
- Century 21 for you New Yorkers (I’ve bought everything from dresses to coats and tights here)
- Old Navy (great for affordable baby shoes)
- The Children’s Place (has constant sales and email discounts)
- Baby Gap (Who doesn’t love this classic baby shop?)
- and much to my delight, JCREW just opened up a baby shop!
