What It’s Like Getting Kid Things Through Kid Things

It’s always exciting to try out new kid services and fashion programs so when I was asked by Kid Things to try out their new text shopping solution for busy parents I jumped at the chance!  If shopping on the go and partnering with a professional stylist sounds intriguing to you too, you should try it out!  All it takes is is entering your cell into their website GetKidThings.com (you won’t get spammed with ads or be pressured into any sales).

I tried this process and was immediately greeted by a friendly stylist named Michelle who happily searched through the brands they work with to help me with my request.

They select from trusted, quality brands such as the ones below.

And their stylists are available pretty much 24/7 to answer all your styling needs, and to offer options that fit your needs.  I imagine that it would be the perfect thing for busy moms on the go who either find it hard to keep up with their children’s ever-changing sizing and styling needs and/or for the mom who doesn’t particularly enjoy shopping.  I personally love shopping for kids’ clothes and enjoy the styling but I still benefited from the service.

I sent her a photo of a couple of shorts that I needed tops for along with a general request to see some casual dress options for my 4 year old to play in this summer.  We went back and forth with about 20 pictured pieces until I got exactly what I loved.

And it was great because the options were pre-edited.  Instead of wasting time browsing 10 brands’s sites, I found myself feeling extra productive getting my to do list done while this stylist browsed and edited the 10 sites for me.  It’s quite the VIP experience having an on-call stylist on hand!

Kid Things styles for newborns – 9 year old children, offers free shipping for orders over $100 and allows you to track your shipment.  Plus they’ve partnered with Educare, a non-profit kids’ education charity to donate a portion of their proceeds so you can feel good knowing your shopping benefits those in need.  What do you think?  Would you use Kid Things?  Stay tuned for my follow-up post where I show you what we chose and how we styled the pieces!

I received product in exchange for this review but as always the opinions expressed are 100% my own.

  3. What a terrific idea! The shopping gene that my mother has skipped me (but my daughter has it), so I am always wondering how to get better fashion ideas for my little gal. I’ll check it out.

STAY AWAY! I think this company went out of business because I paid them 50 dollars and I never received the clothing.

Oh dear, I’m so sorry to hear that! I think they did merge with another group actually. So you might want to research and try reaching out again.
I hope you get your items or your money back!!
