What’s a house dress you ask? House dresses go back to pre and post-war years where housewives purchased simple patterned, machine washable dresses. Like moo moo dresses, they are loose, comfortable and effortless. Allowing for ease of movement they’re super functional while still looking ladylike. And these days, there seems to be a resurgence in this classic cut. Mine shown here was a thrifted vintage piece that I’m selling on Poshmark (follow me @stylishlystella).

I’m so happy to see this because this free-flowing frock fits all body types (even pregnant ones!) It is truly figure – forgiving on even those of us who have gained the covid19(lbs).
