Love Love
I’ve never celebrated Valentine’s so hard until I had a little one and loved love even more. Look back through this blog and you’ll find tons of ideas for Valentine’s themed: play dates to parties to crafts and fashions! Today’s Vday inspiration is for those who love pretty pastels and candy hearts! Read on for all the details from my candy heart galentines!

Thank you to Chic Sugars bakery for partnering with us on this cake idea! I asked for a unique take on the candy spill cake by changing out the filling to include the traditional candy hearts that we all love and know so well. I also wanted the look and feel to be pretty and elegant even though it was for a kiddie party. And I’m thrilled with how this NJ based bakery created this!! What do you think of it??

I love the pretty ombré pink exterior. Isn’t it lovely?? And the details on the top of the cake made my mouth drop. Just look at those fondant candy hearts with mini messages! And look at how delicate and intricate each of these gorgeous flowers are! It was almost too pretty to eat!

It went SO perfectly with my heart shaped plates which I used both as cake plates and as backdrop decor! Click here to purchase the plates. tip If you’re careful with cleaning them, they are strong enough to be re-used.

The inside of the cake was JUST as delectable. Moist and not too sweet, it was a hit with everyone.

She LOVED it!!
