How does being surrounded by bright, vibrant color make YOU feel?  If you love a rainbow room like we do, you just HAVE to get yourself to the Color Factory.  It’s a pop-up which originated in San Francisco and has opened here in NYC this past August.  And it’s a fun, collaboratively-produced artsy, multisensory exhibit.  Did you know that it was inspired by the colors of the city?  Everything from a NY taxi cab to a lost Elmo toy found on the streets of NY became their inspiration behind each pop of color!

Because of the Color Factor’s popularity, they have extended their NY stay until the end of February.  Great news, isn’t it?

See some of the colorful kaleidoscope highlights from their 16 rooms below!

We loved the surprise snacks (like ice cream & macarons) scattered through the rooms and enjoyed playing musical instruments, reading about where the rainbow colors came from, and of course, posing for Instagram pics. The extra large blue ball pit was one of our favorite rooms.  Cuz, heck, who doesn’t love a ball pit?!

NOTE if under 18, kids MUST be accompanied by a parent, it is closed on Wednesdays and tickets are not sold on-site.  So pre-purchase and click here for more info!

Immersed In Wonderland, a FREE Beverly Hills Pop-Up

3-D Art by Alexa Meade

Us two pop-up princesses have played in a whopping 18 pop-ups in 2018. And that’s not even counting all the free art exhibits that have popped up like this cool one…that would bring the number closer to 30! This last pop-up of the year was possibly the best! Immersed In Wonderland in Beverly Hills by Alexa Meade was fun, memorable and it encouraged you to become part of the art!. We were more than happy to jump right in!

My girl loves to play dress up after all! Unfortunately this exhibit, once on Rodeo Drive through December 23rd is now closed. But if you were watching our daily adventures on our Instagram stories, you would have seen all the behind the scenes videos before then.

How cool is this, right?? It reminded us of the 29 rooms exhibit from 2 years ago which had the same idea..perhaps it was the same artist back then too.

What a fun place to play pretend, huh?

Now that the year has ended, we are excited for all the adventures 2019 will bring us!
