I Heart Valentine’s Outfits For Moms and Daughters
Valentine’s seems even sweeter with a little one. Every year, my daughter and I celebrate Valentine’s by decorating heart-shaped treats, hosting Valentine’s play dates, and dressing up in a series of matching mommy and me outfits. While she is little, and while I can still get away with it, I love finding matching Valentine’s outfits for the two of us. Below are two outfits that started with the iconic heart motif.
We bought our tees from Zazzle which had an enormous selection of heart-emblazoned, tees. My skirt is from Macy’s and hers is from Zara. My shoes are Forever 21 and hers are Mia Shoes (with a tiny kid heel which she loves!!)
Those red velvet ribbons on my wall were found from Duane Reade during their after-Christmas sale and they were just 20 cents each!
This outfit started with the Love tees found in an XL and SM at Old Navy’s kids’ section. The matching leopard sweater and cardi are from H&M and the fur slip on shoes are Target (mine), and from a Chinese wholesaler (hers). The snowflake wall decals are from Target.

Sometimes the shoes make the outfit and sometimes the shoes simply inspire one which is why when we were sent an amazing package from Amadin we knew the outfit would begin with these

These are the purple primary color (one of Juliet’s favorites!!) But they also come in pink, orange, blues, yellow, chestnut and brown and they retail for $125. Also handcrafted with care in Italy, they feature only the finest in genuine leather. Below, J wore the slippers with leggings, a tee and a fur vest.
