Houndstooth

I just finished another episode of Gossip Girl- every fashionista’s favorite show.  Ever since Sex and the City ended, Gossip Girl has sashayed it’s way into all our hearts and filled up our empty DVR spots.  I just love this shot of Blair where she’s wearing this gorgeous bow-tie blouse in a houndstooth print.

New York Fashion Week: Bebe Fashion Show

From attending NY Fashion Week, I spotted some continuing trends from as far back as fall 2011 and earlier.  One of the continuing trends was the cropped pencil pant which I just adore.  Bebe’s fashion show was a case in point.  You can expect many more slim, cropped styles in prints and solids.  Here were a couple of their basic black options.

I own plenty of Bebe myself so it was exciting to have been able to have scored a front row seat.  All in all, I found the madmen – inspired fashions ladylike and very fabgab.  You may be seeing a few of their pieces in my closet and style diary soon!
