Fashion Week: NY Fashion Week Spring 2012 Day 1

Ok so I’m a little behind with my blogging. Fashion week has ended and here I am recapping my first day. I blame work. My full-time fashion job has kept me slaving away for 12-14hours a day these days leaving no time for my blogging hobby. But it is with great pleasure that I review my photos and share with you today a photo of me and my new friend, A.K a college student/cross-dresser/designer.

I don’t know what it is with me and drag queens, cross-dressers and transvestites. I just adore them! Being that I’m totally fascinated by makeovers, I guess it sort of makes sense. Here he is again -this pic was from last season. Apparently he likes pink.

I’ve been attending fashion week for over 13 years so I’ve had numerous chances to snap shots with many a fashionable drag queen. Here are some photos from past NY Fashion Weeks.

But nobody does it better than Thailand where I just returned from vacation. Perhaps in a future posting, I’ll show you some of the “ladyboys” that I met there!

Fab Decor: Brocade Wallpaper

Call it damask. Call it brocade. I love it all. It was my go to print for when I decorated my old apartment bedroom. It was what caught my eye during my wedding planning. And I adore it when it comes to fashion and stationary even! I’m about to take off on a flight to Thailand and am expecting a long 15 day blogging hiatus so before leaving, I thought I’d leave you all with some of my favorite fab decor shots featuring damask and brocade wallpapers.
